Saturday saw the third race in the highly competitive Manchester Area Cross Country League, held at Woodbank Park, Stockport.  A very traditional Cross Country course – Woodbank sports a challenging route, through fields and woodlands with a “killer” hill and plenty of mud!  11 Buxton Juniors turned out to test themselves and came away with outstanding results!

Ellie Wilson took the first victory in the under 17 girls race, followed by Jacob Winfield running in the Senior Men’s race, winning the under 20 men.  Team mate Jacob Miller also took 3rd place in the under 20 men.

In the under 11 race Dylan Gray and Matt Rolfe both worked hard to come in 50th and 51st, with sisters Rachel Cudahy and Rachel Cudahy came in 52nd and 56th.  In the under 13 race Sienna Phillips put in a great run to finish 26th. In the under 15 race Caleb Winfield came in 30th boy with Abbie Fryer-Winder in 38th.
