Buxton AC’s Ryan Rawlinson had a great day at Derby Mini-League Track and Field this weekend.  With temperatures soring Ryan kept his cool with a scorching performance to win then 100m sprint, followed by a blistering second in the 200m.  The sprint specialist then showed his versatility by putting in a flaming performance in the 800m to take another 2nd!

Ryan’s little brother Owen showed he has the sprinter genes following in his brothers footsteps with a personal best performance in the under 9 50m dash! Also representing Buxton was Abbie Fryer-Winder who put in a sizzling performance to finish 4th in the under 15 girls 800m.

Also this weekend siblings Ava and Henry Hazelhurst represented the club in the 3rd round of the junior Gritstone Series at Great Hucklow with Ava 2nd in the under 16 girls category and Henry 2nd in the under 10 boys.  Team mate Liam Jones also had a great run to come in 3rd in the under 10 boys.
