Last Saturday (7th May 2022) saw a group of Buxton AC juniors travel to Ambleside for the second round of the English Junior Fell Running Championships delivering some impressive results. The course was tough and the weather was rather warm too.

Buxton junior, Georgia Cudahy started the day off with an excellent 5th place in the U9s. Next up was the U11s, where Evie Willis also took 5th place. In the U13s, Hannah Cudahy placed 28th with her older sister, Rachel Cudahy, finishing 24th in the U15s with teammate, Lucy Whelan, finishing 29th. The next race of the day was the U17 and U19 girls. This race saw Amy Whelan 8th U19 girl, Grace Longden 8th U17 girl, Connie Jenneson,12th and Rebecca Cudahy 21st U17 girl. The final race of the day saw Buxton Junior, Will Longden finish 3rd U19 boy. A great event with impressive results by the Buxton team!
