This years Midlands Cross Country Championships were held at Prestwich Hall, Loughborough.  Buxton AC juniors fielded a team of 8, taking on a challenging, traditional cross country course around the picturesque grounds, taking on a quality field from all over the Midlands representing over 120 clubs.

First up in the under 13 age category was Grace Bond who put in a great effort to come in 112th overall. Next up in the under 15 race Sienna Philips ran well to finish 86th girl, and making his debut in the boys race Buxton AC newcomer Billy Hawkins did himself proud to come in 99th.  Amy Whelan had a cracking run in the U17 race to come in 28th and teammate Heather Wilshaw also had a strong run to finish 51st.

The under 17 men’s team all put in excellent performances in their race with Edward Diamond leading them in, in 20th, followed by Stuart Diamond 27th and Harry Bond 49th.
